Thought Id snap the famous metal bison just outside the village of Les Eyzies. Les Eyzies is a centre for prehistory in the Vezere Valley with lots of caves with real wall art applied in prehistoric times. The bison were a frequent sight in the area way back then. The photo here shows flooding right next to the river Vezere. This is a spring phenomenon, but the waters quickly recede and by the time visitors start arriving from March onwards, the valley will be full of spring flowers and the bison will be again standing in their green meadow.
